Whats up guys, L Sits on a rainy day after a 20 mile run this morning.
By definition, the “core” of any functioning body is a central and often foundational part of any system.
Beyond having a defined midline, which is a symptom of the union between your nutrition and training regiment, maintaining a strong midline helps to:
• Keep You Upright
• Stabilize Your Spine
• Stabilize Your Pelvis
• Transfer Strength To You Limbs
(Core to Extremity)
• Protect Your Spine From Injury
So regardless of whether or not you consider yourself an “athlete” – the fact remains that your abdominals are one of the most important groups of muscle in the entire muscular system.
You are using them each time you pick something up from the floor, when you put on your shoes, when you get out of bed, when you walk, when you climb stairs.
Your midline is a forecast of how bright your days are in the not so distant future.
What’s your forecast?
